W4W || DAY 5 (92 MILES)

Today was brutal, physically and mentally. We spiked back up in elevation, distance, heat, and bustling cities – compounded by tired legs and that finish-line itch – and we had our work cut out for us!

However, God showed UP.

First, it was a magical morning because one of my best gals, Megan, got baptized! We were praying for the perfect spot and everything exceeded our expectations. It was such a special moment and we were all so honored to share it with her 🤗.

Additionally, all throughout the day we were just TAKEN CARE OF by strangers! From amazing bike shop staff offering fast and friendly service to auto mechanics filling ALL of our waters for FREE, to police clearing intersections, to a PRIMO spot and assistance to get the 15-passenger van and trailer perfectly parallel parked on a narrow city street right across from where we are staying, to a nice commuter biking far out of his way to help us navigate to our correct path, to everyone and their bikes making is SAFE AND SOUND to our final destination where we were once again met with open arms and generous hospitality, it couldn’t have been a better grand finale to this week.

Getting to know this special group of women has been a tremendous experience, proving once again that we are better together!

In total, we biked over 450 miles, raised just shy of $40K, and joined with hundreds in united prayer to move the needle closer to freedom and justice for all. Thanks for everyone who played a part in the journey!
